Purpose:
Legacy Mfg Company is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team. This position is a key contributor in the development of graphic design and marketing initiatives by improving upon the visual identity of multiple growing brands. This individual will be responsible for creating a wide variety of print and web projects including retail packaging, advertising, web graphics, product catalogs, trade show display materials, presentations and other marketing materials. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creates layouts and develops graphics for a variety of materials including retail packaging, brochures, catalogs, advertising, trade show graphics and signage, PowerPoint presentations, and other projects as needed.
  • Helps maintain and review image and copy database.
  • Brings innovation, creativity and freshness to our marketing execution
  • Contributes to concept development and brainstorming creative ideas for a wide range of projects.
  • Works with internal departments and outside vendors to coordinate print and production of marketing materials as needed.
  • Works cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Meets deadlines, manages multiple projects, balances shifting priorities and focuses on solutions to improve quality and efficiency as project progresses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or combination of education and relevant experience. 3+ years of professional graphic design experience using PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communications skills during the design and creative process.
  • Flexible with a desire to work in fast-paced, high volume, constantly changing team environment with the ability to manage and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to handle copy changes with accuracy, control versions carefully, and ensure files are archived accurately and promptly.
  • Proven understanding of print layout, including master pages, layers, tables, export settings, press requirements, style sheets, fonts, color profiles/palettes, pagination, graphic manipulation, etc.
  • Experience with web design, photography and video shooting/editing is helpful not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Positive, collaborative, adaptable attitude with a desire to achieve results
