Registered Dental Assistant

We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our established one-doctor, general family dental practice.  If you are upbeat, hard-working, and reliable, we would like you to join our patient-centered team. 

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare rooms and instruments for patients. 
• Prepare patients for treatment and examinations. 
• Assist dentist and occasionally hygienists chairside. 
• Take x-rays on patients. 
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. 
• Complete lab tasks as instructed.
• Fabricating temporary restorations. 
• Order dental supplies and maintain dental equipment. 
• Assist with scheduling of patients and other front-desk duties. 

Dental Assistant Requirements: 

• Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program. 
• Dental x-ray certification.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. 
• Exceptional written and patient communication skills. 
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills. 
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to work as a member of a cohesive team. 

Experience: 

• Must be a registered dental assistant. 
• Expanded functions would be a huge advantage.
• X-ray certification. 
• CPR up-to-date. 

Wage: 

• $18.00 to $28.00 based on experience and skill level.
