District Manager - Iowa City

 $1000 sign on bonus

The District Manager is responsible for managing the day to day delivery of the newspaper to all customers within the Iowa City and Coralville area. Other responsibilities include planning/directing programs and activities of the circulation operation, overseeing carrier recruitment, selection and orientation, maintain/increase the circulation and market penetration, and reorganize or redesign delivery routes for maximum effectiveness.

Position requires

•  an Associate degree and 1-3 years supervisory experience; 
• or in the absence of an Associate’s degree, 2-5 years related experience. 
• Previous supervisory experience helpful.  
• Must be agreeable to work flexible hours including: nights, weekends, and holidays with the availability to respond 24/7. 
• Applicants must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle record, proper insurance and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.  

Salary starting at $41,000 commensurate with experience plus bonus plan.
