Driver

We are seeking a positive-minded, self-starter to join the distribution team at a long-standing, locally owned, 85-year-old company.

FUNCTIONS:

• Deliver product in the Cedar Rapids metro area and within 100 miles
  • Home every night.
• Load and unload vehicle
• Combination of dock stops and non-dock deliveries, some handling involved
• Work hours vary but are always weekdays only. Some four-day work weeks are a possibility
• Be able to lift to 70 lbs. Most are 50 lbs and less.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equal
• Delivery experience is a positive
• Good driving history.
• CDL required Class B with airbrake endorsement
• Good math and verbal skills
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
• Forklift and pallet jack experience
