Customer Service Order Specialist

The Customer Service Order Specialist acts as a front-line liaison between Legacy and our customers through incoming calls, email requests and other sources. It is the responsibility of this role to provide exemplary care for these customers, going above and beyond to ensure that all of their needs are met.  Daily tasks include order processing, updating customer records, communicating product and service information to customers, sales reporting and trouble-shooting customer concerns. The ideal candidate is expected to be proactive in finding solutions across multiple systems.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processes customer purchase orders, including resolving pricing discrepancies and any other purchase order related issues.
  • Provides exemplary customer support by answering incoming calls and email requests for all customers regarding pricing, availability, order status, tracking and more. 
  • Maintain and be proficient at working in and managing customer portals.
  • Maintains customer records database to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepares weekly customer and sales related reports.
  • Assists with various office administration tasks

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree or 2 years related work experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exemplary customer support required.
  • Must be organized and able to complete many tasks at a quick pace while maintaining accuracy.
  • Candidate must possess proficiencies in Microsoft Suite products.
  • Technologically literate
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One preferred.
  • Experience working with EDI a plus.
