Job Summary:
Full-time position. Provides quality customer care and staff support to promote efficient and timely service to our customers. 

Job Responsibility:

  • Answer phones and assist callers when able, or redirect to appropriate staff member.
  • Assist customers who walk in our office with advertising, payments, subscriptions, general questions and/or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Assist walk-in and call-in customers with placing liner ads
  • Assist the Circulation Manager with subscription and distribution questions and issues
  • Process and distribute mail to the appropriate people / departments 
  • Coordinates advertising and customer services to ensure proper flow of information and preparation of advertising orders. Inputs copy into order entry system.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned/needed.

Job Skills & Attributes:

  • Ability to type 40-50 WPM accurately.  
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.  
  • Strong English language skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation.)  
  • Strong organizational, initiative and time management skills, conscientious and attentive to detail.  
  • Project pleasant voice, positive manner and professional attitude.  
  • Strong customer orientation.  
  • Ability to work within specified timetables and deadlines and to multi-task and prioritize.
