Customer Service Rep - Manufacturing

To be the liaison between external customers and U.S. Nameplate Co. regarding the fulfillment of all orders from initial design, order placement, to actual delivery. This Customer Service Representative is proficient at the below responsibilities and requires occasional Management support and supervision.



  • Demonstrate and foster U.S. Nameplate Company’s Core Values.
  • Advise and guide all customers/prospects through the initial design/order phase.
  • Receive and process customer orders; screening information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage customer orders throughout the manufacturing process, advising customers of any significant delays; providing alternatives to ensure customer expectations are fulfilled.
  • Manage customer releases and ensure delivery dates are met; proactively managing customer finished goods inventory levels.
  • Maintain control and accuracy of quoted/contracted pricing.
  • Work to retain/grow current customer base; through constant communication & suggestive selling  
  • Complete quote follow ups and customer contacts in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Build customer loyalty through positive customer engagement and service excellence
  • Partner with Production to ensure a world class customer experience by delivering quality parts


  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred


  • 5-7 years of customer service experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Sales- Inside or Outside
  • ERP / CRM system experience of 5+ years required


  • Maintain a positive and flexible attitude within a team environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer focused and Sales driven
  • Proven track record of attendance, accountability and attention to detail

COVID-19 Precautions:

Masks required at all times moving around the buildilng and within six feet of anyone.  Split shift breaks to reduce number of people congregating.
