Customer Support Representative

Timberline Manufacturing Co.

Primary Responsibility: Assist Timberline Customers by working closely with inside and outside sales, engineering, production planning, and purchasing to meet, communicate, and plan for customer expectations.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Process and confirm customer purchase orders with internal and external customers
  • Coordinate expediting of products to meet customer expectations
  • Communicate schedule changes with internal and external customers based on customers input and expectations
  • Work with sales and production to assist in solving customer items
  • Monitor order status through production to communicate differences to customers as necessary
  • Process returns when incorrect or damaged items occur
  • Ongoing problem solving and support of customers
  • Develop and maintain good customer relations ensuring quality and on-time delivery
  • Additional work projects and responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills:

  • 2 years previous experience with customer service responsibilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required
  • Must be skilled and accurate in data entry and be proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Capable of utilizing the internet effectively for research and evaluation
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus of timeliness and responsiveness
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Must have a positive attitude with a customer appreciation mentality
