Client Service Specialist- Transportation Division

TrueNorth has an immediate opening for a Client Service Specialist to support our Transportation Division. The Client Service Specialist is responsible for receiving incoming calls from independent contractors, process applications/changes/terminations, and provide outstanding customer service. This individual will be joining a team in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.   

Job Functions & Responsibilities:   

  • Receive incoming calls from clients and prospects; provide outstanding customer service as well as quote coverage  
  • Answer phones in a professional and timely manner to ensure clients are serviced appropriately  
  • Maintain quality customer service with clients on a daily basis by providing consistent, timely and accurate service  
  • Monitor incoming faxes; process changes, additions and deletions, as well as process new applications  
  • Review incoming applications and changes received via email, phone, fax or mail  
  • Ensure applications and changes are completed accurately and timely  
  • Input applications and change information into Overdrive on a timely basis  
  • Maintain & update Overdrive, Epic & CRM as necessary  
  • Complete paperwork associated with clients on a timely basis as established by agency standards  
  • Update and maintain account process manual  
  • Assist with non-pay cancellation follow up  
  • Assist with new business data entry   
  • Create and mail certificates for motor carriers, lienholders and clients  
  • Follow-up with clients on incomplete applications and change forms  
  • Complete any special projects assigned by the expected deadline  
  • Increase industry and job knowledge as measured by attendance at continuing education, attaining or updating designations, and participation in other agency training offerings   

Skills & Competencies:   

  • P & C / Life & Health license required within 90 days of hire  
  • Ability to meet defined deadlines  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
