Client Service Specialist - Transportation

 TrueNorth has an immediate opening for a Client Service Specialist to support our Transportation Division. The Client Service Specialist talks with owner operators on insurance coverages and driver programs. The position will be joining a team in a fast paced and results driven environment. The Client Service Specialist is responsible for receiving incoming calls from individual owner operators, handling quotes, processing applications/changes/terminations and providing outstanding client service to all Trucker's Service Company clients and accounts.    
Primary Job Functions:    
  • Provide consistent and outstanding client service to clients      
  • Handle incoming calls in a professional and timely manner to ensure clients are serviced appropriately      
  • Maintain a positive attitude, even when dealing with difficult clients      
  • Monitor incoming faxes and handle incoming applications and changes received via email; process appropriately, and as outlined by department operating standards, and in an accurate and timely manner      
  • Maintain and update client and company systems, as outlined by department operating standards, and in an accurate and timely manner   
 Education & Experience:   
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required   
  • College degree of equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred  
  • Previous customer service experience required; experience in the insurance industry is preferred   
  • P&C Insurance licenses are required or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment; maintain annually   
  • Life & Health Insurance licenses are required within 90 days of employment; maintain annually  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and able to quickly learn and utilize other computer applications
