What we are looking for:
IDx is looking for a driven, results-oriented individual who excels at getting things done with the IDx team as well as our customers.

The primary function of this role is to act as a consultative partner to customers and ensure a positive experience by maximizing value and benefit of IDx-DR in clinical settings. The Clinical Education Specialist will deliver clinical and operational expertise by providing education and training support for IDx products to clinical end-users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage by creating and delivering presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms
  • Meet with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care
  • Develop and continuously improve customer facing training programs for the IDx medical devices
  • Develop strong relationships with customer personnel including staff, referring physicians, and administrators to promote market development and growth 
  • Respond to customer feedback and complaints by developing creative and feasible solutions and working with internal groups (e.g., product, technical support, development, marketing) to develop optimal solutions

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical aptitude; be able to discuss & explain technical product information
  • Estimated travel 50%

Desirable Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or background in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics
  • 2+ yrs. experience developing educational content for patients and healthcare professionals
