Service Manager

TrueNorth, an Insurance and Financial Strategies firm, has an immediate opening for a Service Managerto work with our Transportation team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Service Manager's primary responsibility is to perform duties and maintain quality service which supports TSC (Truckers Service Corporation) accounts; including motor carriers, insurance companies, business partners and producers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain quality customer service with clients on a daily basis by providing consistent, timely and accurate service
  • Complete tasks/tickets as assigned by member representatives
  • Return client voicemails in a timely manner
  • Manage follow-ups as assigned by member representatives
  • Track down leases for new clients
  • Process returned mail by contacting clients via phone and/or email
  • Maintain relationships with clients and producers, internal and external
  • Maintain a positive attitude, even when dealing with difficult clients
  • Complete all processes as outlined by established procedures
  • Complete any special projects assigned by the expected deadline
  • Perform other related responsibilities as they may be assigned
  • Backup to the member representatives where necessary

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience preferred
  • Prior customer service experience is required
  • Life, Health, & Accident insurance licensing required within 90 days of employment
  • Must also have experience in Microsoft Office; intermediate Word skills and basic Excel and PowerPoint skills
