Under limited supervision, performs semi-skilled work in the maintenance and repair of Wastewater Treatment Plant process equipment, buildings, machinery, grounds, lift stations, collection system, storm water pumping stations. Will be placed in the on-call rotation when properly trained. Performs other related tasks as required.

Candidates should have

• a general knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance
•  the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time under adverse weather conditions.
• Candidates with a valid Iowa Class B Commercial Driving license with air brake and tanker endorsements and/or a grade I Wastewater certificate preferred.  

Possession of a valid Iowa Class B Commercial Driving license with air brake and tanker endorsements within 90 days from date of hire.

Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical & drug screen & must reside within 23 air miles of the Coralville city limits within reasonable time frame after hire. EOE
