Master Electrician

Atwood Energy Services is a 100% employee-owned renewable energy company based in Iowa that specializes in solar and battery storage installations. AES is looking for qualified Master Electricians to join our growing team.

What is expected:

A willingness to travel overnight to complete projects when necessary

Assemble, install, and test electrical wiring and equipment using hand tools and power tools

Pull and terminate conductors to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and compliance with code

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as megohmmeter or voltmeter to ensure compatibility and safety of system

Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment to ensure conformance to building and safety codes

Install ground leads and connect power cabling

Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install and maintain solar installations

Work well with the on-site team to complete projects

Troubleshoot and repair equipment

Daily reporting to Project Manager

Maintain a high level of quality

Communicate with the install team in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner

General construction experience including the use of hand tools, measuring and leveling equipment

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

What is Required:

High school diploma or GED

Valid Master Electrician license in State of Iowa

Clean driving record and reliable means of transportation

General electrical knowledge and 1-4 + years of experience

Commitment to following OSHA and Company safety requirements

Attention to detail

Ability to work with a team

Physical abilities to complete the required tasks

Ability to lift, pull and push materials

Willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions

Experience using basic hand tools

Salary: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
