City of Coralville Parks and Recreation Department is seeking to fill the position of Janitorial Maintenace Worker

Duties: Under supervision, uses general knowledge of building maintenance work (plumbing, furnace, boiler, electrical etc.) to perform labor in the area of building maintenance.

This position will work with other overnight staff to cover cleaning and maintenance needs of city buildings including but not limited to the Coralville Public Library, CCPA, Rec Center, Police Station, and park bathrooms/Fire Fighter Memorial.

Hours:  The shift is 9:00 P.M. – 5:30 A.M. beginning Wednesday evening and ending Monday morning.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
•  Experience in janitorial work and maintenance helpful
•  Mechanically inclined persons encouraged to apply.

Special Requirements

Possession of a valid State of Iowa Driver’s License.

Miscellaneous Information
