Job Information:

The University of Iowa is seeking Assistant Managers for our Custodial Services organization within the Facilities Management department.  This role is responsible for coordinating custodial services activities to provide a physical environment that promotes institutional excellence and meets customer needs.  The Assistant Manager oversees multiple custodial areas which are directly managed by custodial supervisors.

Facilities Management (FM) is a service unit of approximately 750 employees, including a large unionized workforce, who work behind the scenes, 24 hours a day, serving the University of Iowa as stewards of our beautiful Iowa City campus.   FM staff coordinate campus master planning, manage design & construction, maintain & clean the buildings & the grounds, and provide utilities management.
