The Supply Chain Manager will translates the company vision, mission, and strategies into functional activities within the assigned work areas. Ensures the completion of well-defined departmental tasks; provides effective communication and supervision to department employees; works with the team to develop departmental and individual goals consistent with company strategic plans, policies and programs; fosters a spirit of team work, continuous process improvement, wellness, health and safety; monitors productivity, quality standards and cost objectives to ensure performance standards are being met or exceeded.


The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.


Essential Job Responsibilities for Primary Functional Area of Accountability

  • Plan, develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy for the company as it expands its footprint and customer base
  • Management/oversight of the procurement, warehousing, and customer premise equipment (CPE) functions and team members
  • Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop and implement improvements to supply chain processes through automation and streamlining of standard operating procedures
  • Work closely with other internal departments (Sales, Operations, Finance, etc.) to identify optimal parts, stock levels, etc. to support the operations of the company
  • Ensure the company maintains strong relationships with all suppliers
  • Responsible for implementing methods, approaches, and solutions to maximize warehouse efficiency and use
  • Periodically serve as a backup to other supply chain team members and fulfill their job responsibilities as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Experience, Training, and Special Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics or a related field.
  • 10+ years of work experience within a supply chain role (procurement, warehousing, logistics, etc.) including five or more years within a management role.
  • Experience within the Telecommunications industry, including an in-depth knowledge of key materials and suppliers/manufacturers, is strongly preferred
  • Must be extremely proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is preferred but not required
