Maintenance Mechanic

Full Time Position

$20+/hour depending on experience.

Ability to travel is required, employees will be compensated mileage and per-diem.

Job duties include: Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on full range vehicles including heavy duty vehicles, such as trucks, trailers, forklifts, pickups, compressors, jetters etc. Responsible for diesel engines, brake systems, electrical trouble shooting, steering and cooling systems. Keeps track of the maintenance work on the vehicles. Ensures services provided follow safety procedures. Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop. Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicle.

Requirements:

• Must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance.
• Will be required to undergo training on site for specific equipment.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
• Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
• Must be able to concentrate on tasks.
• The ability to understand and communicate information is essential.
• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
• Pass drug screen and background check.
• Must provide own tools.
• OSHA 10-hour a plus.
• Paid Training Provided.
