Job Summary:
The Customer Support Specialist provides front-line, first-response support via telephone and live chat to all customers using Fuse5 services. To serve as desktop technician responsible for deployment and technical solutions to PC, laptop, and peripheral end-users, to assist internal and external customers with technology needs, to provide audiovisual support during onsite meetings, and to recommend innovative Information Systems best practices.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Train customers, identify issues, communicate development needs and in general support WMS (Warehouse Management Software) needs
  • Collaborate with Help Desk staff
  • Diagnose and resolve software questions and issues, network connectivity, printer, mobile and VOIP telephones, and wireless device issues
  • Assist clients with scanner and printer setup and troubleshooting
  • Monitor and update Help Desk ticket system
  • Document interactions in CRM
  • Fielding/Closing internal and external tickets
  • Windows PC Troubleshooting
  • Printer installation and troubleshooting
  • Software configuration and troubleshooting
  • General network troubleshooting
  • PC Setup and maintenance
  • Various IT specific tasks

Requirements
  • Strong reading, writing and math skills, usually acquired through college-level education.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong experience with computer applications including the Microsoft Office suite and Web Browsers
  • Experience using or troubleshooting web based solutions
  • Ability to remain poised and calm when faced with difficult situations
  • Ability to use empathy, inquiry, courtesy, and a proactive, outcome-focused approach to problem solving in both verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
  • Aptitude to learn new software applications quickly

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of a 2 year degree or equivalent certification preferred
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Job Type: Full-time
