Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking a dynamic individual to join our growing organization as an Administrative Services Coordinator supporting our Executive team and PCI’s administrative initiatives.

The Administrative Services Coordinator will be responsible for leading and supporting administrative activities, physician recruitment, physician and provider credentialing, event management and special projects for PCI.  

Requirements:

  • The successful individual will be an energetic, well-organized, detail oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.  
  • The qualified candidate will be a team player who takes a proactive approach to independently managing all assigned projects and should be able to work with minimal direction. 
  • This role requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task. 
  • The candidate must be trustworthy, discreet, loyal, and must maintain strict confidences. 
  • The qualified candidate will be customer focused and will possess the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is a requirement of the position.
  • Leading candidates will have 2-4 years of related experience.

The Administrative Services Coordinator will be functioning in a highly visible role and must reflect the demeanor, level of respect, professionalism, positive attitude, and instincts necessary to appropriately represent Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa.  

 

 Some duties include: 

  • Serves as project coordinator, performing a variety of functions for CEO, Executive team and PCI Leadership.
  • Serves as point person for and coordinates PCI special events and meetings including staff and provider socials and events, serving as a point of contact both inside and outside of the organization.
  • Functions as PCI contact for physician recruitment firms, physician candidates and departments to identify and successfully recruit physicians to the PCI organization. Coordinates all physician recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Performs credentialing for current and new providers including but not limited to tracking and renewing provider licenses, managing enrollment with facilities/payers, completing reappointment processes for hospital and outreach privileges, maintaining all requisite files and documentation.   Work with both internal and external entities related to credentialing issues. Maintain various administrative files and documents, answer administrative phones and screen calls, order and maintain supplies, send and manage communication to physicians, staff and or Pavilion tenants.
  • Maintain daily meeting schedule(s): respond to invitations, resolve scheduling conflicts and coordinates associated follow up and activities.
  • Coordinate outside visitors and meetings including invitations, ordering meals, developing agenda where appropriate, etc.
  • Manage multiple calendars and schedules.
  • Manage conference room scheduling and associated duties.
  • Greets and interacts with visitors to PCI Administrative offices.
