Foundation 2 Crisis Services is a rapidly growing nonprofit organization in Cedar Rapids. The Executive Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative support tasks. This individual will manage confidential information and discretion will be essential. We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized individual who has the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This individual will support with board activities including meeting scheduling, minutes, distribution of materials, and board reports. The Executive Administrative Assistant will also answer the administrative office phone and be the first face individuals see when they enter our administrative building.

This individual will also support with human resource and clerical tasks including background checks, on-boarding, employee files, preparations for audits, and bank deposits.

This is a first shift position which will report in-person Monday-Friday.

Rate of pay is $18-$20 per hour, plus our generous benefit dollar package of $500 per pay period (you can receive up to $500 per pay period as income if you don't need our benefits/insurance, or put that money toward the cost of insurance, 401k, or other benefits). This position would accrue 21 days of PTO in the first year.

Requirements:

  • Significant executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Nonprofit board experience is preferred.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior executives, staff, community leaders, donors, and funded partners.
  • Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and availability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance and ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Pass criminal records/child abuse background checks completed by Foundation 2.
  • Proof of education for personnel file
