Deputy Clerk

          The City of Robins, Iowa is searching for a permanent part-time (25 hours/week; 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) Deputy Clerk.  The position performs utility billing for the City; performs general clerical and administrative work of more than average difficulty in assisting the City Clerk/Treasurer with administrative functions including responsibility for assigned tasks and related duties as required.   

          Preferred applicant should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer Associates of Arts Courses/Degree, or past work experience in public administration or business administration; have excellent customer service skills, and possess the ability to work as a team as well as independently.  Must be bondable, have good writing, interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs required.  Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.  Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug test is required.
