Office Manager

Well established company in Vinton, Iowa is seeking an office manager with accounting experience.  Must have strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprises, 5+ years experience maintaining office systems and supervising a small staff, including recruiting and training staff when necessary.  Should be tech savvy and willing to work 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Track sales orders to invoicing, creating inventory packages through an “inventory build” process and applying invoices
  • Organize office operations and procedures, working with sales, parts and service departments to create, maintain and improve processes and workflow
  • Procure office supplies and equipment
  • Review company general and health insurance renewals
  • Record accounting transactions – AP, AR, Collections, Account reconciliations; maintain general ledger
  • Maintain and enhance employee records and handbook
  • Be a liaison between departments to ensure smooth operation and accurate communications, as well as other duties as directed
