This position is responsible for providing support to all Second Story Promotions Customers throughout the sales process.  The Customer Support Specialist will prepare quotes, submit purchase orders, interact with vendors, process and monitor orders, troubleshoot the Second Story Promotions website, and perform a variety of additional tasks.  Focusing on excellent customer service, efficiency and quality, the Customer Support Specialist will provide support to both internal and external Customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of preferred vendors and their promotional product offerings
  • Ensure products are quoted accurately, based on margin expectations
  • Communicate clear and concise instructions on all orders
  • Accurately and efficiently enter high volumes of sales orders and purchase orders
  • Proof artwork and make suggestions to ensure customer specifications are met
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
  • Communicate with customer on behalf of internal Customers
  • Organize and assists sales representative as needed
  • Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies
  • Regular attendance

  • Firm understanding and compliance with company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Associate’s degree in a relatable field preferred
  • A minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a relatable field preferred
  • Experience with ERP software preferred
  • Experience with quoting projects, product cost analysis and ROI analysis preferred
  • Knowledge of functional business processes preferred
