Goodwill of the Heartland – Iowa City, is seeking a full time Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Senior Leadership Team. This position is based out of our Iowa City office and will coordinate special projects and assignments, maintain and preserve official corporate and administrative documents and files, take minutes at all Board and Senior Leadership Team meetings and supervise our Office Manager.

Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, outstanding attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively, in writing and in person, with a variety of individuals both within and outside the agency is required. Thorough knowledge of office and administrative practices and procedures, word processing, composing correspondence and other written material as well as being proficient with graphics or presentation software and the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner are a must.

Four years of full‑time employment in a related field required; previous experience in administration, public relations or special projects management is desirable. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Up to two years post high school education may be substituted for up to two years of experience. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record screening.

Starting pay range is $19.60 - $21.73/hr plus benefits.
