Armstrong Development Company is hiring for a full-time administrative assistant. 

The Armstrong Development Company is a Cedar Rapids based real estate development company. By managing the properties we own, we are able to provide our tenants with the space that best meets their current and future needs.

This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. We provide a competitive wage and excellent benefit package in a flexible working environment.


  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) as well as other information technology skills with     various systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Well organized
  • Pleasant, friendly disposition
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous marketing experience a plus, but not required


Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·        Answer phones and greet visitors as first point of contact

·        Perform various administrative duties

·        Prepare Leases, Amendments and Lease Terminations

·        Create and update Marketing Fliers

·        Update company websites

·        Maintain & update available properties on company website

·        Maintain & update company social media accounts

·        Create content for digital directories

·        Maintain building signage (i.e. door signage, notices for renovations, etc.)

·        Coordinate projects with subcontractors

·         Generate list of needed repairs, replacements and enhancements in vacant spaces as well as common areas of occupied buildings
