Serials and Interlibrary Loan Assistant

Applications are being accepted for a part-time Serials and Interlibrary Loan Assistant. This position manages the interlibrary loan process, including training and supervision of students and coordinating policy review.  Manages the library's serials collection, including renewals and stack maintenance. Manages the library's binding and book repair operations. This position is scheduled to work approximately 19 hours per week and is not a benefits-eligible position.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.  One year of related experience, ideally in a library, is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Supervisory and computer skills. Knowledge of general office. Knowledge of general library procedures. Ability to effectively communicate and interact professionally in a variety of situations (in person, on the telephone and in writing). Fine finger movement is required for typing, word processing, and filing, as well as, reaching and grasping.  Some lifting and moving of heavy materials is required.
