Job Information:

The College of Law Career Services Office (CSO) is inviting qualified candidates to apply for a full-time Coordinator of Employment Engagement. This position is responsible for coordinating and administering the operational activities associated with the Office of Career Services in the University of Iowa College of Law.


Key Areas of Responsibility:


·        Support the daily operations of an office, project or program, including coordination of specialized events and activities. Coordinates and/or oversees the operational activities; monitors status of projects; analyze data, develop reports, etc.

·        Plan, organize and coordinate projects and events with partners to meet program goals. Coordinate communication with partners. Collaborate with partners to maximize resources and connections. Partners include on-campus Units and External Agencies (Local, State, National and International).

·        Prepare and administer correspondence. Serve as liaison to faculty, staff, students, alumni and public concerning inquiries or complaints requiring interpretation of policies, procedures and programs. 

·        Gather and provide information using available resources. Typically is the primary contact for the project, program, unit, department, or college/division by providing information and responding to inquiries. 

 

A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Minimum six months experience of providing administrative support and/or coordinating support activities for an office, program or service.  

Salary is $38,000 to commensurate (based upon qualifications and experience), plus excellent university benefits http://hr.uiowa.edu/benefits/fpsmsemc.
