OUR THERAPUTIC SERVICES

The Tanager Place School Based Program is committed to providing mental and behavioral health care to children and adolescents, while also providing the needed support for each child’s family and immediate support network in the school setting. The School Based Program focuses on increasing quality of life through traditional and innovative therapeutic services. Fully accredited by the State of Iowa and the Council on Accreditation, Tanager Place prides itself on providing the highest quality of care treating a comprehensive range of issues. Our clinicians collaborate with each patient and their family in order to create an individualized treatment plan and person centered goals.

Support Specialist:

Work effectively as a valuable team member. Applicants must be highly organized and details focused.


Primary duties will include entering paperwork for client’s charts; validate insurance verification; invoice clients; enter data into software; utilizing Microsoft excel to track and manipulate data; ensure the accuracy of client accounts and charts; process medical records requests; provide support to the clinicians. Experience in electronic health records a plus (can be trained). Act as a positive emissary of Tanager Place and promote a positive image of Tanager Place at all times.


Varied hours, 12-20 hours per week. Flexible daytime schedule.


QUALIFCATIONS:

High School Diploma required. Applicant must be able to pass required background checks. Office based position located at the Estle Center, 1030 5th Avenue SE.
