The UI Cultural and LGBTQ Resource Centers are a part of the Division of Student Life, specifically the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership.  The Centers support historically marginalized students at the University of Iowa.  The UI Cultural and LGBTQ Resource Centers assist students with their transition to the University of Iowa and throughout their academic careers by providing support and encouragement for their academic, professional, cultural, and personal development.  The UI Cultural and LGBTQ Resource Centers creates mutual opportunities and promotes programs that offer cross-cultural perspectives through partnerships with the Center for Diversity and Enrichment.  Above all, this inclusive and equitable environment is committed to cultural and social awareness, which allows students, staff, alumni, and community members to be united in the pursuit of a socially just society.  The purpose of the UI Cultural and LGBTQ Resource Centers is to provide a safe and affirming space for historically marginalized students at the University of Iowa, while supporting and encouraging students to utilize all resources available to achieve academic and personal success.  

Position Specific Summary:  To design, implement, and evaluate multicultural programs and activities for students and the university community in the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (CSIL).  To collaborate with other UI departments in coordinating university-wide multicultural programs and activities.  

Salary and Benefits:
•$37,313 - commensurate
