Accounts Receivable – Account Management Specialist

The Accounts Receivable – Account Management Specialist is responsible for the management of customer accounts. This includes cash application, invoicing, resolving customer claims and keeping account balances current. This also requires communication with both internal departments and customers in resolving claims.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Accounts receivable management for assigned customer accounts.
- Daily ACH, lockbox and credit card cash application.
- Daily invoicing via EDI, SAP, and customer web portals.
- Work with customers to keep their accounts current.
- Work seamlessly with multiple internal departments on resolving open issues on customer accounts.
- Identify and resolve customer chargebacks including allowances, pricing, returns, and non-compliant related issues.
- Submit and track disputes for customer chargebacks.
- Maintain and record the status of customer claims.
- Navigate customer portals to investigate payments, chargebacks, and disputes.
- Assist with other A/R duties as assigned.
- Assist with special projects as requested.
Qualifications:
- Two-year administrative degree, or two years related experience required.
- Ability to work independently, be a self-motivator, and work well in a team setting.
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications as well as general computer skills.
- Experience with SAP preferred, but not required.
- Experience with collections, chargebacks, and disputes from large retailers preferred.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
