This position will be an integral part of the Cedar Rapids-based team specializing in the audit of Vendor Master data in support of legacy-UTAS businesses within Collins Aerospace, as well as Pratt & Whitney. The successful candidate will audit updates to master data to ensure vendor records are accurate and any changes are in compliance with internal controls. This role will require a strong attention to detail and ability to question the accuracy and validity of requests to prevent fraudulent updates. This role will provide exposure to organizations across Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, as well as partnering with Supply Chain personnel to improve performance.

Primary tasks of this organization include the following:

-Ensure that appropriate documentation is attached to all vendor master data change requests for legacy-UTAS and Pratt & Whitney and review for accuracy

-Validate updates made to the vendor master records are in alignment with the source data

-Perform Vender Master Maintenance for UTC Corporate

-Maintain an understanding of processes outside of Vendor Master Review but impact the overall workflow

-Performs a broad range of tasks related to Vendor Master records as necessary

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Education:
This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.  In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Accounts Payable Experience          
  • SAP experience is a plus
