The City of Anamosa, Iowa is currently accepting applications for the position of City Clerk.

The City Clerk would oversee both the Deputy City Clerk and Utility Billing Clerk and report to the City Administrator.

Qualifications
  • The successful candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as, good organizational and interpersonal skills. 
  • Applicant needs to be highly motivated and demonstrate strong leadership and effective management. 
  • Minimum qualifications for office include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or public management, or related field and a minimum of three years of related experience. 

These basic requirements may be waived in favor of comparable experience, and are at the sole discretion of the City Council. This is a full-time exempt position with full benefits. Starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience, within the range of $50,000 to $65,000.
