About this position:
Do you take pride in maintaining quality and accuracy in your work?  Do you enjoy research?  GreatAmerica is seeking a Sales Tax Specialist to help ensure GreatAmerica is in compliance with the sales tax process cycle.  As a Sales Tax Specialist you will be responsible for researching state and local tax laws to ensure compliance.  You will also manage state sales/use tax returns and remittance.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Administration of state sales/use tax returns and remittance
  • Research state and local tax laws to ensure compliance
  • Tax account reconciliation
  • Exemption/resale certificate and business license compliance
  • Provide outstanding GreatAmerica Experience for external as well as internal customers
Education, experience and skills required:
For this position you must be a high school graduate or equivalent.  
  • An Associate’s degree in Accounting is preferred. 
  • Our ideal candidate will have experience with 
  • Microsoft Office primarily Word and Excel;
  • general experience with sales tax software is preferred.
