Altorfer in Cedar Rapids is hiring a Financial Analyst. If you have accounting experience and are looking for a great, stable company, please read on!

Calculate and file state sales and use tax returns; calculate and file federal excise tax returns; prepare monthly bank reconciliations and perform monthly financial closing entries as assigned. Maintain accurate fixed asset records within Sage software and reconcile to the general ledger. Process orders and other requests related to employee cell phones and other wireless technology. Support heavy division with preparation of monthly commission statements.

Requirements are: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related area of study or equivalent experience; Accounting experience strongly preferred; Experience filing sales and other tax returns a plus; High School Diploma or equivalent; and a great customer service presence. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Word. To be successful in this position you must be well organized, dependable and able to meet deadlines.
