Account Executive – Corridor Careers

We are looking for an Account Executive who consultatively sells inbound and outbound recruitment advertising for Corridor Careers. In this position you will work directly with employers to help solve their recruitment advertising needs.

The Account Executive will occasionally conduct in-person meetings and presentations at client locations but most of the inbound and outbound activity will happen via email, phone or social networks. The Account Executive is responsible for identifying and targeting ways to grow existing business as well as ways to obtain new business opportunities. Collaboratively works with recruitment team, management and Product Planning & Development to maximize revenue.

Job responsibilities include:

•Consults with clients to understand recruitment needs then develops and cleanly executes on the best strategies to satisfy those needs.

•Establishes and builds a solid relationship with clients by displaying expertise in fulfilling recruitment needs, offering the best options for the client and following up diligently.

•Offers consultation to clients on best practices for job titles & job descriptions. Provides expertise on what offerings work best for specific industries or position types.

•Stays aware of what competitive recruitment solutions offer and when/how Corridor Careers solutions better serve the client's needs.

•Has ability to work towards and surpass goals.

•Actively participates in evaluation of adapting current processes and offerings to improve ability to meet goals.

•Handles all incoming sales phone calls with courtesy and professionalism.

•Coordinates account information, processes orders and collects payments.

•Attends and participates in department meetings and training sessions.

•Maintains confidentiality of information.

•Performs other duties as assigned/needed.

•High school graduate or equivalent with one to two years additional education in business, sales/related field. Two years' related sales experience preferred. Must have access to reliable transportation, have safe driving habits and clean motor vehicle record, and maintain a valid driver's license.

Job Skills & Attributes:

Strong written and verbal communication skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, pronunciation). Strong work ethic and ability to be flexible in work efforts to drive business is key to success. Ability to work with standard computer software and tools as well as internal operating systems necessary. Accountable, efficient and candid. Great customer service skills including a positive manner and professional attitude. Creative thinking and planning required in working with advertisers. Prior digital sales experience helpful but not required. Ability to work within specified timetables and deadlines and to multi-task and prioritize.
