Board Office Executive Director
Johnson County seeks a Board Office Executive Director to provide administrative guidance to the Board of Supervisors and ensure effective operation of the Board Office. Direct communication and outreach efforts on behalf of the Board, serve as the Board's confidential liaison regarding the administration of policies and procedures, and advise the Board on administrative matters and policy issues.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in public administration or related field and five years of professional administrative experience including supervision. Knowledge in principles of public management and general federal, state, and local legislative procedures. Exemplary skills in communication, public relations, and strategic planning. Must be attentive to details and highly organized. Starting compensation $74,489 to $87,634; outstanding health care coverage. Government experience and Master's degree preferred.
