Communications Specialist

ACP, Inc. has an excellent opportunity available for a Communications Specialist. ACP, Inc. is a division of the ALI Group and a leader in providing high speed cooking solutions to the foodservice industry.

This position will be responsible for external company communications as follows:

Key Accountabilities:

•Develop, design, write, edit and distribute company and marketing information and sales support materials including product literature (specification sheets, use and care manuals), new product and product update announcements, monthly field sales newsletters, promotional materials, etc.

•Technical writing including specification sheets, use and care manuals, and operations directions for equipment.

•Develop and execute social media posts and changes such as Facebook, Twitter and company websites.

•Edit and post publications to websites and make website changes to ensure product literature is accurate and up-to-date.

•Develop, design, create and distribute product and sales educational curriculum and supporting materials.

•Coordinate and manage photography and video shoots including creating video scripts, creating and editing images and preparing for publication.

•Assist in coordinating global and domestic industry tradeshow participation and exhibitions including display planning, product and display logistics, registration, compiling meeting materials, travel and hotel accommodations, etc.

Position Competencies:

•BA/BS with an emphasis in graphic design, marketing, journalism or a combination of related experience and education.

•3-5 years related marketing, communications and graphic design experience. Photography skills/knowledge a plus.

•Creative and accurate technical and copy writing skills.

•Team player with ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others.

•Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Knowledge of or experience with Wordpress and Mailchimp online tools and MS Access and Publisher helpful.

•Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Creative problem solving skills, attention to detail and follow-through are essential.

•Some travel may be required to manage tradeshow initiatives.
