Senior IT Support Consultant - IT Remote Support Supervisor

Health Care Information Systems has an opening for a Senior IT Support Consultant who will plan, coordinate and manage the daily operations of an IT Remote Support team supporting IRL and all off-site clinics and to assist in project work with the analysis, integration, installation, and troubleshooting of wired and wireless computing devices.

Salary and Benefits:

•$50,000 to commensurate

Required qualifications:

•A Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

•Experience, (typically 3-5 years) supporting workstations running Windows 7 and MS Office 2013

•Experience in technology and/or business process analysis and solution design in a Technical Product Support or Customer Service Center

•Excellent organizational skills

•Experience with technical process documentation

•Outstanding communications skills, both verbal and written, with technical and non-technical staff.

•Must meet the University of Iowa Fleet Services Program rules and regulations

Desirable qualifications:

•IT Management experience

•Experience utilizing SCCM

•Professional experience working with desktop hardware and software in a managed workstation environment.

•Experience in project planning and implementing.

•Experience in a healthcare or health industry environment.
