Insurance Benefits Coordinator

A full-time position is available in the Reimbursement department. Duties include, but are not limited to:

•Verifying patient insurance benefits

•Obtaining insurance authorizations

• Entering insurance information and authorizations into software

• Assisting in communicating with patient and referral sources regarding insurance coverage and therapy benefits

• Providing support for billing and accounts receivables

Previous experience in verifying insurance benefits, medical billing, insurance authorizations, medical terminology, web-based software, filing systems, and clerical services required. Knowledge of home health and/or home infusion coverage guidelines, CPR+ software, HCPC and ICD-10 coding preferred.

Applicant must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal, prioritize and multitask, and possess strong organization skills. The successful candidate must also be flexible, have accurate and efficient computer skills, and quickly learn and apply new information.
