Director of Crisis Intervention Services

The Crisis Center of Johnson County is seeking an experienced Director of Crisis Intervention Services. This position is responsible for the overall management of the Crisis Intervention Program, Mobile Crisis Outreach Program, Disaster Recovery Program and the Crisis Prevention and Community Outreach Services, and oversees the management of current contracts to ensure the Crisis Center is meeting contractual requirements and providing regular progress reports to the contract holders.
This position will provide leadership for the procurement of new national, state, regional and local contracts to capture opportunities to expand services.
Desired Education and Experience:
•Masters degree in Social Work or related field and minimum three years of experience in counseling, management and supervision at a human service agency
•Experience navigating mental health care system, including managed care organizations and potential funding sources
•Commitment to the mission of The Crisis Center of Johnson County.
•Supervisory, teaching, and group counseling skills
•Familiarity with suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention
•Knowledge of grant and contact management
•Commitment to accessibility, caring and nonjudgmental provision of services
•Knowledge of community resources
•Ability to demonstrate commitment to working collaboratively with a team of professionals.
The hiring salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000
