We are seeking a Program Coordinator to be responsible for the oversight of a DHS licensed before/after school/work program for individuals aged kindergarten to adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities. An emphasis is placed on social skills, recreational activities, and safety skills with a commitment to community inclusion.
The successful candidate should have 1-3 years experience working with persons with disabilities and will be responsible for monitoring DHS regulatory compliance, supervising part time employees, activity planning with an emphasis on community based experiences, and quality assurance of program requirements. Availability to work hours between 6:30 a.m. & 6:00 p.m. is required.
Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The ability to work independently, build relationships with families, agency professionals, volunteers, staff, and industry professionals is critical to this position. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services or other relevant field of study is preferred. Must be able to pass physical examination and possess a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
