A Loan Data Specialist (HMDA Data and BSA Specialist 1) will primarily assist with validation of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data, which is critical to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements. This position will also assist with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance duties. Will review HMDA data for real estate loans, mobile home loans and home improvement loan applications that are originated, withdrawn, and denied to ensure data is accurate. Other job duties will include log data errors to help track for collection issues, help answer questions from lenders, loan processing, loan servicing, and credit department regarding. Analyze and answer BSA and OFAC questions of co-workers, external auditors and examiners. Additionally, this position will be cross-trained to help with the collection and reporting of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) information as needed.

Requirements: High school diploma is required. Prefer candidates with an associate's or a bachelor's degree. Candidates should have 1 or more years of experience in a related position. A successful candidate would have an understanding of the fundamentals of lending and loan processing within a community bank.
