The University of Iowa Community Credit Union is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Vice-President/Collections Supervisor at the UICCU Financial Center in North Liberty.
The Collections Supervisor is responsibile for the protection of the credit union's financial assets by means of the assignment, scheduling, control, and coordination of all activities related to the collection of delinquent and overdrawn accounts. This position also oversees all collection positions, including but not limited to extensive telephone, written, and person-to-person communication with the collection of past due, overdrawn and legal reserve accounts. This position has responsibility for coordination and close interaction with legal counsel and for the direct representation of the credit union in district, state and federal civil, probate and bankruptcy court actions and proceedings. Collection efforts can include skip tracing, site visits, and direct involvement in repossession and foreclosure actions. The position includes various lending duties, including exception approvals. The Collections Supervisor is responsible for the preparation and presentation of monthly Credit Committee reports.

Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m, including rotating Saturday morning shifts. This position requires the ability, availability, and willingness to work excessive extra hours, as dictated by member needs and demands of the position. Flexibility in starting and ending work times is required, especially during peak periods.
