Athletic Facility & Event Manager

Applications are being accepted for the position of athletic facility & event manager. This is a full-time position responsible for all aspects of College athletic facility use and management of athletic events and competitions. This position will supervise equipment room operations, coordinate operations of all athletic facilities, serve as event manager for athletic contests and events, supervise department work-study staff, serve as liaison with media for broadcasting athletic events, coordinate webcasting of athletic events, manage athletics social media accounts, coordinate operation of concessions, provide administrative support for summer sports camps, and coordinate laundering of uniforms and practice gear.

Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years experience with athletic event/facility operations required. Must have demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently, effectively and independently; Excellent communication skills; Ability to multi-task, detail oriented and ability to work with diverse group of staff members; Strong customer service with the ability to troubleshoot and handle pressure situations; Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast paced student athlete service driven environment in a collegiate setting. Must have a valid Iowa driver's license and be insurable.
