TrueNorth, an insurance and financial strategies firm with headquarters in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa is in search of a Service Manager for the Primary segment of our Transportation team. The Service Manager's primary responsibility is to assist the Production Team with supporting Transportation Companies and their People to Protect and Maximize Assets, Resources and Opportunities, by providing consistent, timely and accurate service to Transportation accounts. The Service Manager processes most aspects of the TrueNorth client accounts on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Complete all daily, weekly, monthly reporting paperwork associated with client, within defined timelines

•Review all carrier produced documents for accuracy

•Transact new, renewal and monthly report transactions, timely and accurately

•Complete reconciliation of client changes and insurance company invoices as needed

•Process the following items and correspondence on a timely basis: audits (3 days), endorsements, monthly reports, driver list requests, company audit requests, dividend checks, cancellations notices, auto ID cards, as defined by Agency Standards

•Prepare all reports with data integrity and accuracy, this includes preliminary reports, final report and Insurance Company payable reports for finance

•Meet new and renewal or project deadlines, as set with Production team

•Request loss runs and assemble basic loss analysis

•Maintain electronic files accurately and consistently to agency standards

•Maintain and follow written procedures as necessary

•Demonstrate knowledge of all agency systems

•Prepare finance agreements

•Prepare insurance policies for delivery

•Organize time in advance so projects are completed on time and with appropriate content and organization

•Maintain a positive attitude, even when dealing with difficult customers

•Handle special requests or reports as designated by Production Team

•Participate in training and meetings in order to better assist external and internal customers

•Increase industry and job knowledge, as measured by attendance at continuing education, attaining or updating designations, and participation in other agency training offerings

•Perform other duties as assigned, appropriate to the position

Education & Experience:

•High School diploma or equivalent required

•College degree or comparable work experience is preferred

•Property/Casualty insurance licensing required within 90 days of employment and must be maintained annually

•Prior experience in data entry is ideal

Skills & Competencies:

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically intermediate Word and Excel skills, basic Outlook and PowerPoint skills

•Strong organizational skills

•Ability to meet defined deadlines

•Strong attention to detail and accuracy

•Collaborative team player

•Ability to operate in a fast-paced, energetic environment

•Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills

•Self-motivated and results oriented
