Customer Service Representative

Maquoketa Valley Electric Cooperative is now hiring Customer Service Representatives for its new MVlink Fiber to the Home Service!

This is a full-time position working out of our Anamosa, IA headquarters.

Requirements of position:

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access

• Excellent communication skills

• Successful in-bound sales and/or telecommunications experience is a plus

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answer in-bound calls and e-mails in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner

• Assist customers with pricing/ billing questions, perform sales calls, and field other questions

• Handle collection calls, send disconnect signals and update tech support with account details

• Process and post payments, and prepare daily deposit

• Schedule fiber installations

• Must be able to organize work to meet deadlines, set priorities and work with attention to detail, accuracy, and a high level of confidentiality
