The University of Iowa department of Facilities Management is seeking a dynamic and innovative custodial leader within the Building & Landscape Services unit.
The successful candidate will lead the Custodial Services organization of approximately 260 FTE, with an operating budgets of over $17 million, providing services within 6.6 million cleanable square feet of campus research, teaching, assembly, library and office space. The University of Iowa campus includes over 200 buildings and spans 1900 acres, thus balancing the diverse needs of our customers while also ensuring proper stewardship of the facilities they occupy is a key responsibility for this position. Additionally, the successful candidate will assure organizational accountability for developing and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment, as well as lead organizational efforts to improve workplace safety. The position will also work closely with Facilities Management leadership to aggressively pursue departmental strategic initiatives.

Qualifications include a Master's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least 3 years' experience in a leadership position for a Facilities Management organization.
