Coe College is seeking a dynamic and detail oriented leader for the position of Manager of Campus Grounds. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the work of a grounds staff, working to provide a beautiful campus for our students, visitors, and campus community. This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the campus grounds, athletic fields and college equipment, and oversees the snow and ice removal on campus with the support of the physical plant staff. The Manager of Campus Grounds develops, recommends and implements solutions that may impact several functional areas, assisting with relocation and special event set-ups, and other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position that will serve in on-call rotation throughout the year and may be required to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

• Requires high school diploma or GED. BA or BS is preferred.

• Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in grounds keeping or related field. Ability to operate equipment and machinery such as string trimmers, snow blowers, push mowers, tractors, salt spreaders and riding mowers.

•Valid driver's license.
