Receptionist/Accounting Clerk

General Purpose:

The position requires general office support with a variety of clerical and accounting activities and related tasks; answering telephones, greeting customers and associates, providing customer assistance, Microsoft Office software, filing, and record keeping. The position will experience regular interruptions throughout the workday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Answering incoming calls

Directing calls to appropriate associates

Mail distribution

Ordering office supplies for multiple locations

Reconciling vendor statements

Filing invoices

Contacting vendors regarding open invoices

Assisting customers with billing questions

Performing general office administration and accounting tasks

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or GED

Accounting experience is preferred

Above average knowledge of Microsoft office software

Required Skills and Abilities:

This position requires professionalism, organization, and great people skills (written and verbal communication skills).

Physical, mental and environmental requirements:

Work is completed in general office setting with regular interruptions. Physical requirements include ability to perform light work activities, including reaching and light lifting.
